I drove 2 hours to come here, and it was absolutely worth the drive! The actors were amazing and not like any haunted house I have been through. I went through 3 times with my group of friends and every time was just as scary. The makeup is next level. The actors are so nice and welcoming when it is all done as well! Sweetest souls!

Absolutely terrifying decorations and actors over the top horrifying! Went through 3 times and it was new scares evertime. 100/ 10 recommend. Bring your friends, bring your family, heck bring your grandma if you are tired of changing her dippers.

I went with the family and was very impressed with the animatronics ( like some of the coolest I've ever seen. The actors were amazing, interacting with each room and its themes as we walked through.

You can tell effortlessly and time has been put into every aspect, each area being so different! Animatronics were the best I’ve EVER experienced! Brought my 2 adult kids and we all LOVED it!!

If you're looking for a scary attraction that will have you biting your nails around every corner, look no futher.. This two story haunted house is well worth the price! so much attention to detail and you can tell that they put their heart and soul into this place. I would recommend this place for anyone who is looking for an exciting, yet scary adventure! They were very busy when I visited but it was well worth the wait!

The place is huge and they scared the $h!T out of me! They have sooo many props and the actors were awesome! Even though I knew they were lurking, their timing still got me every time! There is this one part where there is a projection of mice coming out of the floor and it looks sooooo real it made me start jumping. The other awesome one was the girl that got killed and then sucked back into a hole in the wall!!! LOL SO AWESOME! The woman who owns the place was super nice as well! Was definately worth the drive to go down and see! Will be back for sure!

What a great haunted house. Scary and well done. Great for all ages. Props were amazing and the costumes well done. Creepy guy was around every corner and scared the wits out of this grandma. The 11 year old rated it a 10/10. Drove 45 minutes to get there and it was well worth it. Thanks for the fun.

The first attraction of the haunt was the red hot hostess with pointed ears, and it just got better after that. A combination of live actors, projections, motion activated pneumatic and electronic props made this haunt one you won’t forget and want to go through many times! I don’t want to give away too much but the rats aren’t real!

I have been to plenty different haunted 🏘 stand by this one 100% 5 star all Night! If you haven't you must go. Bring friends to get the group experience is worth it and will be back with friends again for sure!!!!

We were camping at Forestville SP for MEA break and came into Preston to bike, and noticed the signs for this. So we came back on Friday night and went through it.

It's really quite amazing that they are offering this for free. There was a LOT of work and care put into the scenery here, and some really nice effects, props, and scares.

Looks like this is the first year for the event... and if they build up from this level this is really going to be something.

We thought this opened up at 6pm... we got there about 7:20 and they said they "weren't quite ready" yet. No big deal, we waited a few minutes and they let us go through. I was expecting a line but nothing of the sort. Which was sad because there SHOULD be a line because this is really well done. Maybe we just hit a slow time.

Pros:
-FREE! Donations accepted for charity.
-Really, really nice props and scenery. Very spooky.
-Cool themed area outside with a little 'graveyard' and fire pit you could sit around.
-The actors we encountered were really good and fun (scary fun lol).

Cons (Not so much cons, but suggestions for improvement next year):
- We got to the fairground, and weren't quite sure if the event was happening after all. There were no lights at the street entry or other signage directing you in. We drove in anyway, and noticed some themed lights toward the back of the site and that turned out to be the haunted house. We aren't from the area so maybe this is more obvious if you're a local?
- Reading other reviews here, there was evidently TWO haunted houses here? We saw people standing in front of a building up front, but again, no signage or anyone telling us where to go, so we didn't know. Was this a kids haunted house? We were two adults and a teen, so maybe it wasn't appropriate anyway.
- Not a lot of actors in the house. This wasn't really a problem as there were plenty of mechanical props to provide startles, as well as EXCELLENT scenery. And the actor or three they had working did a really, really good job.

It's quite possible we hit an off-peak period, but it WAS Friday night, Oct 20, but relatively early in the night. Still though, we had a great time, and were really glad we showed up. Thanks so much.

I’ve been to a few haunted houses/mazes in SE Minnesota but this one was by far the scariest. I typically laugh at the people that get chased but this time that person was me lol. I was shocked that this place wasn’t packed, the lines were short, they had free candy, and the workers were friendly. They also have an additional haunted house that is more child friendly. 10/10 recommend. It’s free to get in but definitely worth giving a donation.

My teenage daughter and I went and loved it. It was so scary! I could go again and again! I can't believe that they put this on for free and I love that you can donate to the MN Military Family Foundation. Great people, great time- I would highly recommend.

I have been to a lot of haunted houses, some pretty scary, some good attempts, but I have to say this one is the BEST in a long time. Some get boring, but this is very well done, GREAT scares, one after another! It is unique in the attention to detail. going from one themed area into another, amazing how many in one building! They just keep going!
She really spent a lot of time designing the layout. It is AWESOME!
Plus it's FREE, but definitely worth a donation! Great cause!
