Went out there a couple of days ago with my husband and another couple. Arrived at sundown and walked the 2 mile southwest biking/hiking trail through the woods with flashlights and a couple tools for indicating anything out of the ordinary. I am a 41 yr old woman and was definitely unsettled from the start. Felt just like I was an idiot walking through dark woods in a scary movie. My husband previously did this same 2 mile walk with his teens the previous weekend and he said he heard an older man’s voice say gruffly “hey”. Left ear went silent right before it happened but could still hear all the frogs and crickets in right ear. Then he said everything sounded normal again. Had us intrigued so went back out. A lot of cold spots and EMF spikes. Chills and feelings of being watched. Our friend decided since not much was happening he would throw some small trigger words in conversation to maybe provoke activity and well it worked! He kept hearing a man say “behind you” and “turn around”. Then suddenly he heard something charge towards him like heavy footsteps running at him from behind and he was definitely freaked out. I finally let them play with the spirit box on the way back and a lot was caught. A woman said “HELP me”. A younger sounding man said hello and they heard the old man say “hey” again. It was 9:45 pm and we were undoubtedly the only dummies walking in the woods that time of night. Interesting for sure and we may go again but probably not when it’s so dark ????

A couple of friends and I were at the lake lighting off fireworks at about 2 am, we had a camera out recording the fireworks going off. After we were done lighting the fireworks we went home. After rewatching the video you could hear what sounded like a female screaming. We couldn’t hear the scream in person. Too this day people say maybe we scared someone in the woods with the fireworks but wouldn’t we be able to hear it since we were there?

Jacqueline Schultz (Jackie) was stabbed 14 times (NOT 144) at this location by her then husband Jorge Miranda-Alonso. Her murder was horrific, he DID NOT cut the tattoo off her finger and he DID NOT "cave her head in with a rock". She was a very close friend, don't TRY to make her murder more gory than it was!!!
