Erickson's Petting Zoo

Do you miss the opportunity to go to Grandpa's and Grandma's farm? The next best place is Erickson's Petting Zoo of rural Osakis, Minnesota.

Fall is a special time at Erickson's Petting Zoo.

Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch:

Every year there's a different maze to explore. Can you guess what year this Corn Maze photo was taken? This year is really special. We are celebrating 100 years as a family-owned farm (Century Farm status!) and we are planning a fun maze to reflect that theme. Bring your family and make some memories!

Activities include a large variety of animals to feed and pet, including lots of different birds in all sizes and colors, and large play areas outside and inside. In addition to seeing all the animals, birds and play areas, you can get lost in the Corn Maze, or discover your favorite carving pumpkin in the "Pick Your Own" Pumpkin Patch! A tractor-and-trolley ride is provided to the Corn Maze.

The Pumpkin Patch will be big this year, with many varieties of pumpkins, squash, and gourds to choose from. (You can also purchase straw bales and corn shocks for your own fall decorating.)

Pony Rides:

Children - and their parents - love riding on miniature horses. Erickson's Petting Zoo features a pony ring that is mobile and can travel to your festival, fair, or special event. Because it is often travelling on the weekends, we encourage you to check ahead if you're coming here to ride the ponies.

The pony ring is for six miniature horses that walk in a circle. The weight limit is up to 90 pounds per rider. Several of us walk with the riders. We also ask a parent to walk with the real young children. Pony rides are a real child and parent pleaser - be sure to bring your camera! Tell your children these aren't Walmart horses - they are the real thing.

Other Activities:

In addition to the barn, there's a goat treehouse, a pony ring, a playground and sand pile, an orange mesh maze, a party shed, outdoor animal viewing areas - and more - awaiting you and your family.
