Old Town Escape is proud to bring you Mankato's first escape room! Escape rooms, inspired by video games and board games, have been trending worldwide and are now making their way across the United States. In this game, you must use your observational and critical-thinking skills to explore the elements of the room and use them to the solve the puzzles that will allow you to escape--and to solve a mystery!
The Post Office
The scene is an early 1970s Mankato Post Office. The postmaster has mysteriously vanished, leaving a series of cryptic puzzles behind. During your investigation, your team becomes locked in the back room. Solve the mystery to unlock the door in 60 minutes so the mail can be delivered on time!

It was SO cool! There were so many clues and puzzles to figure out. Some were tricky, some weren't. I t was a good mix. My group made it out in time but just barely. The people who worked there were really nice too. Please make another one soon! I want to do more! If you're visiting Mankato you need to do this or you missed the best part of Mankato.

The interesting and fun theme keeps going through the whole game. It is well planned and organized. It is a great team building experience. There nice touches that tie into the 1970's setting.

Challenging and interesting puzzles kept us engaged as we attempted to escape being locked in the post office. Well thought out game and theme followed storyline throughout. A must to for the escape enthusiast!
