St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church
Lino Lakes, MN 55014
This church was formerly a Catholic school and is rumored to be the home to a ghost nun. Her spirit has been seen around the church and has slammed doors, played the piano and knocked a Bible off the shelf. Footsteps have also been heard.

I was a parishioner of St. Joe's growing up in the 80s. What was the sanctuary was supposed to be temporary and then turned into a gym/cafeteria for the school--but instead the school closed in the 70s and the sanctuary stayed in the square room til the late 90s when the "new church" was built.
At my brother's first communion in the gym/sanctuary, we have a picture of him with a fuzzy ball of light blue light above his shoulder. Many of us saw the similar ball of light around some of the statues and hanging around the back door of the same room. At night, many of us also saw doors and drawers open and close, heard footsteps, and generally had creepy feelings. The rumor was there were 2 separate ghosts--the fuzzy light and the creepy feeling.

I went to that Catholic School back in 1966. I attended First through Third grade there. There was a wonderful fun Nun named Sister Clairene. She was happy, fun and full of life. She was not the type to slam doors but perhaps the type to give you a Bible to teach you something. I have been back there for Funerals for family. Since they made the old church now into the dining hall, it did have an odd feeling. I need to go check out the old school part.

There’s a talker about a 12 year old blue girl that died that has been walking threw the walls, currently me and my friends were there late taking pictures and our friend told us it was haunted from there all the lights shut off out of nowhere. We also have a picture and we believe it’s her in the background
