Hamline University

This university is said to have a couple of haunted halls, according to its students. One building is rumored to have the most ghostly activity - Manor Hall. This hall is where moving objects, eerie sounds and apparitions take place. The third floor is the most active and Old Main and Drew Hall are known to have some hauntings as well. A floating apparition with a noose around its neck has been seen at Old Main and the portraits there are said to have eyes that move. At Drew Hall, there is a story that claims a freshman student was messing with the elevator doors when he got his hand cut off. Although he lived, his hand was never found. Students claim his hand creeps around the hall looking for the rest of its body.
