40 Club Sports Bar and Grill
Aitkin, MN 56431
"This restaurant reportedly has a ton of eerie occurrences that happen after a man committed suicide in 1999 in one of the upstairs apartments. The man worked at the restaurant and was named Tom, he was known to be a reliable staff members and then one day he didn't show up to work. When the owners went to check on him, they found his dead body with his dog curled up beside him. The apparent cause of death was choking due to a bag of drugs that he had tried swallowing.
Since his death, the employees of the restaurant have experienced a number of strange events. They usually occurr after a large gathering or event. Cold spots have been reported along with the feeling of a breeze, as if someone is walking by them. The owners of the restaurant have claimed the lights will flicker and turn on and off for no reason.
A center of activity at the location is the jukebox. It has beenknown to turn on and start playing all on its own. One incident that occurred and frightened the staff was when the same Uncle Kracker song played at Tom's funeral was the one song that would mostly play. The song was not and never was available in the jukebox.
Some other strange happenings here include TVs turning on and off to a static screen while no one is around and radio in the upstairs office that turns on by itself."
