The nearly 700ft vintage ore boat – the S.S. William A. Irvin – will once again put on its creepy finery this October because the Haunt is on!

Our creative crew attends national haunting conventions and our actors graduate from scare school to forge a world of horror, tormenting all the senses. This year’s theme “What are You Afraid of?” aims to answer that question by subjecting guests to most every conceivable fright. This includes visual scares, but also smells, sounds, lights, temperature changes and maybe the occasional mild shock.
Every year the haunt is made anew with fresh horrors. Can You Navigate Duluth’s Haunted Ship?

My kid is 8 and loved it. It was the best part of our Duluth trip. I will go again next year.

This place was scary! I'm from out of town, and was looking for something to do, and I'm so glad I checked it out!! Awesome acting, and cool environment! I couldn't believe this place is actually on a giant ship! So fun!

  • So fun

Going through the haunted ship is one of my favorite parts of spooky season. It's so nice to see how much work the actors put into their character and they never fail to scare people. The scenes are so detailed and spooktacular. The dedication is so impressive.

  • Unique and terrifying!

This haunt has it all! A unique location, great effects and scenery, and great actors! There was a crocodile guy with a loud bucket that scared my entire group and a weird little clown girl that I think was actually a guy? Love it!

  • Email Verified Go early in October!

I like going early in the season because it's a little less busy. That way, I can really take in the incredible detail of each of the scenes -- they're incredible! So much work goes into creating the Haunted Ship. It's like gory beautiful, if that's such a thing. Also, wear good shoes because there's climbing of stairs. It's my favorite of all the haunted houses I go to during the season

  • Nothing Else Like It

Our daughters love touring this. The scenes and the actors are both high-quality. The naturally twists and turns of the ship lend themselves to the haunted aspect of experience.

  • It wouldn't end!

We really got our money's worth with this tour. It just went on and on with something scream-worthy at every new turn. I appreciated how much work went into this haunted house. Loved that it was on a ship - totally different!
