I have been coming to ScreamTown since 2019 and it is my favorite Halloween event. Matt, the owner, is so creative and personable. Not only are there plenty of things to scare you, but plenty of magic and illusions to surprise and amaze you. The Abandoned Hayride is unforgettable as is what follows... I don't want to give away anything!
This year, 2024, there were some new Haunted Houses - the Nightmares and Phobias was my favorite with the Cannibal Cabin a close second. The props and theatrics in both houses rivals big buck venues like Hollywood Horror Nights put on by Universal Studios. Kudos, Matt!! By the way, Matt is very visible, walking around, greeting guests, and making sure all are having a good time. That's pretty cool!
We always purchase the Ultimate VIP tickets which are expensive, but so worth it. Join the mailing list for discounts! Having this access allows you to get through all of the houses in one night. The walk through each one is long (yay!) and takes some time to go through, especially the Oak Blood Forest! You don't want to miss any of the attractions. As a fun aside, you can put your name on your ticket when purchased online - we are always Dr. Bella Donna and Dr. Bloodbath!
The Apothecary Shoppe got an overhaul this year with space for you to walk around inside as opposed to more of a booth set up in past years. There were some exciting murder mystery games for sale as well as oddities and cute merch like mugs, shot glasses, and hoodies.
There are also food stands, food trucks, and beverages, including beer and wine, for purchase. No outside alcohol allowed. There are police and security onsite but "in the background." I've never seen any trouble when I've been there, even on a busy Friday night, and I feel very safe!
The vendor tent is a great place to warm up, especially for us last night as it was raining (only for a little while and the show still went on! Thank you!!). If you get a chance, try the Indulgent Cookies from the "Hungry Little Ghost." I highly recommend the Biscoff one and the Kinder Bueno Bar stuffed one! We also got cool t-shirts there. The owner of the company is a super friendly ghoul (gal) named October. So fitting for her business!
Hope you have as much fun as we did!

Cuddles was one of the people outside the out door woods that we went thru and was very fun to interact with and talk too. Cuddles was very dedicated to their role and made it a lot of fun during the line we were waiting in including giving us a very good scare a couple of times. Cuddles was definitely our favorite creature there and we hope to see them again next year!!

Even with Covid-19, Screamtown was a BLAST. I had never been, but I had heard great things from friends and I can't believe it took me so long. I love going to Haunts, and I'll admit, sometimes it takes a lot to get a genuine reaction out of me in a haunted house- but Screamtown (AND The Abandoned Drive Thru, Screamtown's neighbor that's usually The Abandoned Hayride) got me to jump, almost run, and even scream quite a few times, which usually doesn't happen with me (usually I'll flinch a little and nervously laugh). Besides the unique scares, the lighting, music, and animatronic/non-human scares were SO cool and well done; I don't think I've ever been to a Haunt where animatronics could scare me until now. VIP passes were also DEFINITELY worth it- little to no waiting and the 2 bonus houses were SO good (plus, I'm pretty sure you technically could do the houses more than once unlike regular admission?). Abandoned: Down The Rabbit Hole was super spooky with only a lantern (though I almost wish I would've done it again without the lantern JUST to see how much scarier it could be with no light) and Trapped: Possession got me to SCREAM numerous times (I won't spoil it but WOW). Each house had it's own unique traits and I don't think I have anything to say negative about any of them (though, if I had to pick a favorite, I'd probably say Circus Asylum- where were a few rooms/clowns that absolutely terrified me)! Every actor seemed to know how to scare, and I've been to plenty of haunts where there can be even one or two people who just aren't as into it and it takes away from the experience, but everyone here seems to genuinely enjoy doing what they do! Plus the line greeters and roaming characters were great balances of scary and fun/entertaining. This event was so well run this year- I didn't see anyone causing issues about wearing masks, it didn't feel like we were crammed into the place (which I was worried about and goes to show they care more about their guests well-being than some other haunts), and it seemed like social distancing was trying to be enforced as best as possible. I think I could go on and on about how much I enjoyed this event, and I really may have to try to go back again before this season is over because it was that enjoyable (and it's a good 30-40 minute drive for me, so you know it's worth it!) I also cannot wait to experience everything that will come next year with Screamtown/The Abandoned Hayride- this definitely won't be my last time supporting this place.

This is the best haunt I have ever been to. The variety of haunted areas – right from the eerily serene spooky forest to the make-your-skin-crawl zombie maze - is simply amazing. The lines were not too long, and the actors were scary yet entertaining.

We had a great time in Scream Town. Special mention to the actors who really put each attraction over the edge. Every attraction had something for everyone. As the name suggests, my nieces virtually screamed non-stop through the forest. Vidar Blóðhorn and creepy clowns freaked us out. Actors’ costumes/makeup were realistic. My only gripe was that the queues were a bit long. Must visit.

So much fun! A very well-appointed haunt. The mazes and sets were amazing. Great attention to details and lots of space and attractions to explore. I personally liked the haunted forest which takes you through a real forest filled with all sorts of actors and animatronics. Definitely worth it.

t was a great experience! The Abandoned attraction was my favourite. I am tough to be scared (or at least that is what I thought of myself). But few of the scare moments actually got to me. Overall, it was great fun. Check it out.

Very creepy, especially towards the end. Be sure to wear your running shoes. Kids under 10 should be warned of its scariness.
